German-born Executive Chef Sven Cepon, began his career at home and served with a number of 5 star hotels in Cyprus, Switzerland and in the Maldives for over 7 years before moving to the Sheraton Maldives in 2010. Executive Sous-Chef, Nikolaj Retpen, was born in Aarhus, in Denmark. He joined the Sheraton Maldives team in October 2011 after working for our sisters' properties, the W Maldives and the Luxury Collection in Bali. With our weekly cooking or cocktails classes, our two Chefs are willing to share recipes and tips from their experiences around European and Asian countries. |
